Christmas Greening Workshops

Tuesday Dec 5 and Wednesday Dec 6

This is our 35th year offering these fun workshops to help people make fresh arrangements to decorate their homes or to give as gifts.  The club provides the materials and instruction to make it easy for anyone to create a beautiful holiday decoration.  The workshops are open to anyone in the Cleveland area.

“Thanks for offering these wonderful Christmas projects.  They are a perfect way to kick off the season. “

Here are photos of this year’s designs.  Participants choose to make one or more arrangements:

We provide all the fresh fragrant greens, accessories, ribbon and other items you need.  Then, our expert demonstrator will walk you step-by-step through the project while other Garden Club members will be on hand to give you individual assistance if you need it.

“I loved the arrangement I made even though I have no talent in this area.  Thanks so much for providing, what for my friends and I, has become a tradition.”

Workshops are held at Bay United Methodist Church, 29931 Lake Road in Bay Village.  Arrive early for your  workshop to enjoy free refreshments, shop at our Accessory Kiosk, and enter a raffle for a unique arrangement.

The cost for each workshop is $35.  This is the Bay Village Garden Club’s only major fundraiser each year.  The proceeds are used for all of our civic beautification projects including the city Welcome Sign planters, flower beds around the Gazebo and at City Hall, as well as joint projects with the Dwyer Center and the Village Project.  Those who participate in the workshops help support these community beautification projects while creating one or more arrangements for their personal enjoyment.
